Your first birthday has past months ago, but you growing too fast. Very soon your 2nd birthday is coming again.

I wonder how you will react to your 2nd birthday. For your 1st birthday, you just want to play with kids who came to your birthday.

First time after midnight meltdown, crying non stop past 1.30am

Usually, you are easily calm down and sleep back. However this is the first time you cried non stop almost 30 minutes as you unable to speak yet. Your mummy hard to interpret what you want.
Your eyes are closed but trying to pull me and push me at the same time. It is quite frustrating as not sure why you cry so pitiful out of sudden in the middle of night.

Already fed you milk and put yu yee oitment on your tummy, yet you crying as you unable tell what you want to your parents. Your mummy only can ask questions, and hoping it is what you intend to tell out.

Eventually you just want your mummy to change your diaper as you prefer dry and clean one. Usually you not required to change till morning, but you prefer to change. You quickly calm down and lie down and let your mummy change you. Your mood change immediately.

Please son....hope you will speak soon.

First MEGA tantrum @ 26 Nov 2017 - 20 monthls old

You have the 1st mega tantrum just because I told you that you had enough playing with my phone by just playing youtube for lunch and dinner. After dinner, you still wanted to watch, I let it slide. But it has 1.5 hours, I decided it is your screen time is way too long. 

When I said enough and no more screentime. You got piss and beat your mummy' face with your both hand. You got angrier, you pull and ripping of your mummy hair. 

Your mummy got upset and stern say it is NO MORE. You get even angrier that you run to your box full of toy and throw out all the toy from it. And you look at mummy like a mad face. 

You are only 20 months old, not even 2 years (24 months old), why you so fierce and angry already?

You will disclipine and time out when you continue your bad tantrum just because you dont gey what you want.

Teeth Frontal chip off

On 23 Oct 2017 (Monday) as you are still 19 months old. You still pick stuff from the ground and eat it. It is a terrible habit. Your 4 teeths (2 top and 2 bottom) are chip off badly after you biting a dark color rock without babysitter notice it.

However dentist cannot do much as you will scream murder if want to fix. So for now, your mom has to bear looking at your chip off teeth for now.

Son, please do not try to put anything into your mouth when feeding time, you bearly open your mouth.

Weird Sleeping Position

Last night, you falling asleep on my neck so comfortably with your almost 11 kg of weight while your mom suffocating and wont dare to budge as hoping you go to deep sleep soon.

Everyday you will find a way to torture your mom even you are sleeping?

Ticklish baby

Dear Owen,

You are almost 17 months old, and growing up fast and getting cheeky each day.

Everytime I pick you after work, you will run instantly to the bedroom. Climbed on the bed, hugging your pillow and waiting for me gleefully with patient as you will expect me to find you there.

You hoping I will come and catch you and trickle non stop till you scream and kicking happily. You will pretend to run away but you actually hoping your mummy will catch you repeatly and trickle you while you laugh and scream like helpless baby.

These are some moment I will always remember as you are growing up and still wanting to be with your mummy. I will trickle you till you are bored of it. That's part of your mummy job. :P

16.5 months

Each time I fetch you back from babysitter place, as soon as you see me...your hands flapping like a like happy chick. Sometimes, you will immediate take your shoes down and attempt to wear  as if you cannot wait to go home with me.

But most of the time you instantly needed to carry up, or I ignore you..you will walk away and cry pitiful like as if I don't love you anymore.

Feel so funny as you look so 'ugly cute' when you cry.

You rarely cry eventhough you are hurt or fell down, except you know I'm around there to cuddle.

Fever @ 16 months old

Last night, he had a fever almost 39 celcius and very clingy. Cuddle to sleep like a koala till mummy also didnt sleep much till 4.30am. Whimpering while sleeping, and eventually suck of his mucus out from his nose and he able sleep better. At least we all slept a bit rather none.

Since first time, even consume medicine for 2 times and still the fever not subside yet.

Fell off the bed accidentally

Woke up at 1.30am, 4.30am and 6am. Playing in the such hour is not fun for your parents, sweetie.

Unfortunately, on 6am where he came up to the bed and tossing around and accidentally fell off the bed and heard a loud thud when he hit the floor. Sigh!! Please son, try to miminize your prone injuries ;(

Lazy in holding your bottle when see your mom and sleeping pattern

Son, you are bullying your mom quite well. When your mom feeding you milk, your hands like jelly. Do not want to hold your own bottle regardless day or night. Must scold several times you before you willing to hold the bottle yourself.

With your dad or babysitter, you are more independent and less whiny.

Fake crying and call out your "mama", only stop upon seeing your mom, just laze on the bed and instantly wanting to sleep. Just close your eyes and sleep lor, dear son. Why need to fake cry in the middle of the night.

Sleep routine, your mom must be next to you, but you are the rough sleeper. Tossing here and there...and throwing your weight onto your mom like doing some touchdown wrestling. It is painful, my son, my body and face are not your pillows.

15 months (at night

Last night was brutal as you did not want to sleep back after drink your milk at 5am. You literally slap my face to wake me up repeatly to make sure I see your stunts and jumping on the bed beside me. Then before that,

When I finally woke up, realise you rearrange furnitures in the room too.

I dont know where you got the energy when I myself feel so stone in the morning.


Hope you are growing well as your momma is aging drastically with your unlimited battery inside you daily.

First Time Somersault @ 10 June 2017 (14 Months +++)

When back hometown and Owen can really play well with his older cousin brothers. Quick in copying all his couins stunts.

One of them was somersault and laugh funnily while his mom having mild heart attack seeing it.
Scary my dear son, you getting more like a boy than a toddler now

Throw ball quite well by just looking at your cousins throwing at each other and you joined into the action while your mom worried you hit by the balls as your cousins are still young and may not know their strength, but your mom is happy that you really having a great time with your cousins.

Screaming constantly in high pitch and everyone eardrum trembling.

Milk Supply @ 14 month

Dear Son,

After for 14 month of consuming breastmilk, and also formula during your growth.
Seem mom purely rely on formula milk for you now. Sad but happy at the same time.

Some thought it is easy to breastfeed and just pump breast milk, actually it is stress and time consuming and a lot of patient. A lot more washing to be done compare to giving formula milk.

Son, hope you will eat more nutrition food and formula milk as you are still growing. Please dont make me stress as you play with your food more than you are eating them, except there are crap/junk food you gobble them happily.

Shake head 'NO" and "Yes"

Owen can shake his body up and down gleefuly (meaning YES) when ask him whether he wants his PUFF or pacifier.

Since last week, he able to nod his head as yes after repeat several times whether he wants his pacifier


Only lately, he started to shake his head as NO when we tried to feed something he dislike.

Cry during sleep (14 Months)

Last night was scary as he was crying badly non stop suddenly around 11pm. He just cry with tears and snots on his face. Unable to calm him down. Went out of the room to fix another milk for him, and leaving him with his dad. He cried even worse.

Actually he is tired and angry as he unable to find the pacifier earlier. He just had a meltdown for the first time where we unable to console him immediately but just let him cry while soothe him hoping it is calm himself eventually.

After got his milk, he calm down, drank the milk and went back to slept instantly. But the whole night, his eyes keep open to ensure I'm there for an hour and he was making whimpering sound so pitiful.

By 4am, he was tossing around and decided to sleep with him. He was grumpy and sleepy, but he just want to touch me with his hand for ecurity while he continue to sleep.

Climb onto the coffee table on his own @ 28 May 2017 (14 months old)

I wonder how he got up there, amazing yet scary when I was looking for him while he climbed up and squatting on the table just to get his pacifier quietly. 

This kid really determine to get his pacifier no matter how difficult it is.

Milestone_14 Months

Tried to climb table to reach stuff.

Able to walk but still prefer to hold hand when he is in unfamiliar place.
If he knows the place well, he will drag you the place he prefer to go.

High 5 and Frowning mode

He has started to learn Hi5 to anyone happily. He just lift up either one of his hand up and expect the other person to slap his hand. Of course he still cannot say 'Hi 5" thou.

He frowns quite frequent when he see other people frown or elderly ones. Not sure why he does that.

Shoe, he says and walking progress

1 May 2017 (Labour day), able to say 'shoe' clearly while playing his dirty shoe. 

Also dislike me walk away from him, wants me to hold his hand while walking around. If walk away without him, he will shout and upset. If too far away, he will fake cry. 

Yes, wait till you are teenage, you will definitely will not be like this anymore. 

Walk on his own like a boy

Today my baby walk on his own to his nanny house for the first time. No longer carry like a baby for 11 months.

Proud and sad at the same time, mixed feeling. Too fast!! too fast!

13 Months Development

13 months development

1] walking wobbly, no more wanting to crawl except he is too tired or woke up in the middle of night sleeply.

2] Front top right tooth erupted, causing him making a lot of noise in the middle night till I also felt like zombie for 2 weeks.

3] Finger pick up his favourite snack to eat well after taught him only 3 days.

4] Hold his own bottle milk since 1 year old, but also depending on his mood whether he want to do so.

5] Favourite pastime is ransacking everything in sights: cupboard pulling all the clothes, handbag looking for interesting stuff to play, drawers too. Whole house like hit by tornados. When it is messy, he is satisfied and walk away. Once you tidy the place, he will re-do the place again. Not good for my back for picking and rearrange stuff.

6] Love to watch TV, soon to be TV addict

7] Love iphone especially watching nursery songs.

8] Still waking up happily and smiley. No crying before.

9] Still making loud motor noise in his sleep and too tired to look for his own pacifier as expecting us to put the pacifier into his mouth especially his teething period.

10] Like to cringe his face like an old person to anyone, especially those who upset at him.

11] Love to scream loudly as scared anyone cannot hear him, actually he is talking but his volume is way too loud till whole building can hear him. Like a tarzan baby.

12] Very sociable but only dislike 2 profession: BARBERS and DOCTORS. Cry non stop as soon he is being touch by them.

13] Independent yet when you walk away from his sight, he will shout at you. As he wants you around while he play.

14] Crawl or walk to his own bed when he is tired and indirectly telling he is sleepy or trying to play hide and seek.

15] Love soft stuff and soft bed.

Babyhood is over

Missing his babyhood already as he is transition into a naugthy toddler. Growing up too fast for his momma. This is when he is 3 days old.

2nd tooth (52 weeks / 11 mths old and 4 weeks)

Last night when brushing his gum and his single tooth, realised then 2nd tooth has erupted on the bottom right as follow the baby teeth development after 1 month gotten his 1st tooth. No wonder he is whining in the middle of the night more frequent and reluctant to drink milk before his afternoon nap and midnight.

Seem a lot of red rashes around his chin as he is drolling a lot due to teething too. Many more sleepless night to go due to teething. At least for now, his appetite still normal.

11 months and 3 weeks

Able to climb down the bed and sofa on 11 months and 2 weeks. And now he able to CLIMB up the bed and sofa on his own. He is growing up too fast. No longer a baby soon, feeling so sad about it.

Taking out all the stuff from the drawers, throwing stuff everywhere and sucking any stuff he can grab on even he know it is not food.

Oh yes!! Even trying to learn using iphone to find his favourite apps...as he know now it is touch screen. Out of frustration, will throw the phone so hard.

He is getting more independent and naughty each day. Whenever I dont hear his voice, meaning he is doing something which he should not do.

Just few months ago, he is a baby and gurgling baby words and learning to crawl and eat. Cry when no one is around. Now in the stage to learning to be an individual person of his own.

Going to be toddler soon, no longer a baby very soon. Feeling so sad...sigh

Sleeping pattern

Realised Owen do not cry if he wakes up in the middle of the night. He will toss and turn several minutes, and if he cannot sleep back. He will call out for us 'aahhhh! aaahhh!! when he is younger and if after awhile he realise no one heard him, he will shout angrily for us.

10 months old onwards, he will crawl out and stare at us angrily and whining with the look "why are you in the living room and not with me in the bedroom?" Put me to sleep again, human!

Now in 11+ months, he got lazy crawling out to the living room as he just too lazy as too sleepy. He will play with his noisy toy and crawl back to his bed and wait for us to cuddle him back to sleep. Smart move, kiddo! 

1st CNY @ 2017 (28 Jan)

Celebrating his 1st CNY, and received stack of ang pows from relatives. Happily counting before his nap.

3 months old

First tooth (10 months and 3 weeks old)

On 9 Feb 2017 which 10months and 3 weeks old, Owen had his tooth (1st) on the lower front part but the 2nd tooth next to the 1st tooth also coming out.

Cried badly while bathing last night for 15 mins, and found out his 1st tooth when he was singing and yapping around with his mouth open widely.
